Holy S#$%, I'm Blogging

Hello Everyone and welcome to Monkey's Random Thoughts blog. As the title says, I will be posting some random thoughts, which really means that I'll be writing about whatever interesting stuff is going on (well at least interesting to me).

For example, the largest trade in NBA history just went down a few days ago. Now, I'm not really a fan of any of the teams involved, but geez how can 1 of the 5 teams get good players while the rest get, well crap!! And really, wasn't Utah trying to get rid of Greg Ostertag for years? They gt rid of him for one year and now they want him back???? Whatever. Anyway, I don't even think Miami (the absolute winners of this trade) will be that much better, in fact I think they will have more trouble than most people think.

So there you go, my first post, that wasn't so bad , was it? Feel free to comment thats part of the fun...

Probablemente Ostertag sea un "mentor for young players".

I gotta admit that I think the heat definitely got the better part of the deal.

essentially they lost a defending and 3pt shooter for a better defender (if he stays healthy),who is taller and can play sg if need be, a nice backup @ pf for udonis and a decent insurance policy @ pg in case d.jones leaves town, else they have a decent backup at pg too.

white chocolate is also a crowd pleaser (when he's not shoot bricks) and along w/ 'toine should boost, if possible, attendance. the one thing I didn't like was losing rasual butler, he showed some nice flashes in the playoffs and I thought he definitely had a future with the team.

as for the ego's I'm hoping the big Aristotle can handle that one. I think j-will and 'toine will just be happy to play with shaq and defer to the big man. I think he is the charismatic leader that could make this team click. and unlike, Kobe, neither j-will nor 'toine have the skills nor pull to backup an ego beef with shaq.

My prediction is Miami vs nets in eastern conference finals.

Thanks for all your comments guys, I'm happy you like this blog thing.

Now, on the miami thing:
How happy is Dr. Shaq going to be when on a 3 on 1 White Choco takes an off-balance 3 which hits the backboard first then bounces off to the corner where 'Toine puts up an airball then stays back complaining to the ref whilw the other team scores an easy layup?
I'm just saying...
